Gluid is a producer from the Netherlands named Bram van den Oever.
In early 2002 he started Gluid (sort of Dutch for sound) as a project, to make music with only fieldrecordings/ foleysounds as source material which a friend, Timon Straatsma, recorded. He spend lots of time working on tracks and finishing them, that year.
Due to circumstances it took 3 years before he letted other people hear the results of that. After very enthusiastic reactions of these people he decided to send it to escrec
www.escrec.com a dutch recordlabel/ platform for adventurous music. And after that the 1st release was a fact.

Bram decided to continue the project Gluid after receiving lots of very good reviews in the press and commissions for theatre and dance plays.
But this time without the restrictions of using only fieldrecordings as sourcematerial.
Although the fieldrecordings still play a major role in his compositions he introduced, instruments, synthetic sounds, samples etc.. in his music.
After that decision Gluid made, and escrec released 2 EP's and a full album. Which are rich in sound and texture. Entering the world of Gluid will be an immersive experience!
